# Realm

## What is a Realm?

A realm is a place that you govern to organize your community and achieve objectives.  Each realm has a unique currency that serves as an integral component of governance.  Currency enables your realm to come to consensus on important decisions using a wide variety of voting methods. 

Realms are designed to work with your existing Discord channels and are meant to be as independent or as interconnected as your community needs.
